Recent post-Voice releases include singles from Felicia Temple and Tyke James and an EDM release featuring Dia Frampton.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music.

* Felicia Temple from Season 12 recently released the slow-groove R&B track “How You Do That.” It’s a song she wrote in 2019, inspired by R&B classics. But she didn’t get to release it until now because her career was interrupted by the pandemic. Voice fans might recall that Felicia is a nurse, and she worked in the COVID ICU unit at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, N.J., during the worst of the outbreak. “It was terrible,” she told News 12 in New Jersey. “I’ve never seen anything like that in my life. And I hope I never see it again. We were in war mode.” As for “How Do You Do That,” Felicia also released a music video

* Dia Frampton from Season 1 is featured on another new EDM track, this one called “Flames” by FuntCase, aka James Hazell from England. Meanwhile, Dia just announced that new Meg & Dia music is on the way and should be out in July. Dia and sister Meg released music as a band for years before Dia appeared on The Voice, then reunited for a 2020 album “happysad.”

* Tyke James from Season 15 released a single called “Saw You in a Dream” recently. Judging from the photos on his Instagram, a music video will follow. Tyke says it’s the first release off an upcoming EP that will land late summer or fall. It’s also the first release from Tyke since his 2020 EP “Light + Sun.”
