We’re just a week away from the new season of American Idol.

And the show just announced that past contestants will be taking to Facebook and Twitter to answer fan questions this week.

Well, not just contestants.

Returning judge Jennifer Lopez will answer questions from fans Friday at 3:30 p.m. EST.

The past contestant Q&As begin tonight with a 7 p.m. EST session with Kris Allen on Facebook.

Facebook:

Jessica Sanchez on Thursday at 2 p.m.

Phillip Phillips on Friday at 3:30 p.m.

The American Idol Facebook page will post at the above times and alumni/judges will respond to your questions in comments.

Lauren Alaina (@Lauren_Alaina) on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Pia Toscano (@PiaToscano ) on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Angie Miller (@AngieMiller) on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Candice Glover (@CandiceGlover) on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Colton Dixon (@ColtonDixon) on Thursday at 3 p.m.
