Will Champlin, a finalist on Season 5 of The Voice, has released a new five-song EP.

Former The Voice finalist Will Champlin has released his first major project since 2014.

It’s an impressive five-song collection called “Chasing Fire,” featuring mostly up-tempo tunes.

On Instagram, Will describes it as “a mix of #indierock and #postedm sounds that will resonate with your inner ambitions.”

And on Facebook, he said it features “collaborations with some amazing producers who cover pop markets, indie and film.”

Will placed third behind Tessanne Chin and Jacquie Lee on Season 5 of The Voice.

He released his post-show debut album, “Borrowing Trouble,” the next year.

Will hasn’t exactly been idle since. Teaming up with producer Kurt Hugo Schneider, he and Lauren Duski released a splendid rendition of “Praying” in 2017.

And he was back at it last year, teaming up with Schneider and Kirsten Collins for covers of “In My Blood” and “Meant To Be.”

He also released a pair of solo singles, “Rebels” and “Picasso in My Pocket.”

Here’s the title track from the new EP.
