We’re about to be treated to new music from another former contestant of The Voice.

Grace Askew will release an 11-track album called “Scaredy Cat” to iTunes next week.

Grace was 26 when she auditioned for Season 4 of The Voice. She landed on Team Blake and made it to the knockout round before being eliminated in a matchup with The Swon Brothers, who wound up finishing third.

At the time, Grace dubbed her music “blun-try” because of its mix of blues and country.

That’s certainly evident in the two tracks we’ve been treated to so far. Not to mention Grace’s distinctive vocals.

She unveiled the title track on Spin today. You can heard here for a listen.

She had released the video for “Cinnamon” (embedded below) last month.

Oh, and Teen Voque recently named Grace one of the “10 country-ish artists you’re going to love, even if you don’t like country” because her musical style is so unique.

Grace arrived on The Voice stage with an impressive musical resume. She’s been performing since age 17 and had already released her fair share of music — EPs in 2008 and 2009 and albums in 2010 and 2011.
