The links take you to the songs on Apple Music.

* Raelynn, from Season 2, released “Only in a Small Town” on Friday. “I’ve been playing “Only In A Small Town” live for awhile now and this one is special because I could see it resonating with people all around the world,” she writes on social media. “There really are things that would only happen in a small town!” RaeLynn has also announced that a full-length “Baytown” album will be out Sept. 24, following an EP by the same name that she released last summer. And in other RaeLynn news, she and husband Josh will be welcoming their first child, a girl, very, very soon.

* Johnny Gates, from Season 12, released “Over You” on Friday. It’s a song he co-wrote with Tyler Thompson and Mason Thornley. Writes Johnny on social media: “It’s tough when you date a girl in a town where everything is really familiar … Nashville definitely feels like a small-town sometimes, same bars, same people, same friends. So when I went through a break up here, it kinda just made me wanna leave, get out and go back to LA… because everything in this town reminds me of that person.”

* Grace Askew, from Season 12, released “I’ve Been Everywhere Too” on Friday. Grace co-wrote the song with Joe Leathers, and it marks her first release since dropping a fine “Adobe Red” EP in March. But she’s been creating daily thanks to a 365-day song-writing challenge and posting the results on her Instagram page. She’s also expecting, with her second child on the way.
