And the new song has a music video to match, featuring Haley flirting with the camera on Venice Beach.

Refinery29.com premiered the song and video on Thursday.

“I was really hoping that we would release the song in the summer, because it totally has a summer vibe going on,” Haley told the site.

As for the song itself, it’s intentionally stripped down.

“I wanted to give my fanbase and any new audience out there a chance to get to know me as a raw artist who can do a pop and also a jazzier feel,” she said.

The single is Haley’s first release since she released her album “What’s That Sound,” made up mostly of covers of hits from the 1960s and ’70s, last year.

But she also recently appeared with other former American Idol contestants on the “Where Are They Now?” segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Haley, 27, finished third on Season 10 of Idol.
