Hannah Goebel says she left The Voice Season 14 for personal reasons.

Hannah Goebel had turned four chairs in the blind auditions and looked like a potential front-runner on Season 14 of The Voice.

But in the final battle round show of the season Tuesday night, Carson Daly announced the Nashville pop-soul singer-songwriter had left the show for personal reasons.

Hannah took to Facebook after the show to address her fans, though she didn’t explain why she left the show. She simply cited “personal reasons.”

“I want to assure everyone that I am well; I still have my voice and am looking forward to a long music career and recording original songs in the near future,” Hannah wrote in the post.

She also thanked the show, her fellow contestants and fans for the support they showed following the airing of her blind audition.

Hannah had special praise for her Voice coach Kelly Clarkson.

“Above all else, I must endlessly thank my amazing Coach, @kellyclarkson , for believing in me, providing me with the greatest opportunity of my music career thus far,” Hannah wrote.

“Kelly is someone I will always look up to for her incredible poise, beautiful heart and unbelievable level of talent. I am forever grateful that she decided to use her Block on me and immensely appreciative of the time that I spent on her team.”

Though she left the show, Hannah recorded a duet of her battle round song — “Pray” by Sam Smith — with Alexa Cappelli that’s available on iTunes.

She also apparently rehearsed the song with Kelly and Alexa. The Voice made publicity photos available from those rehearsals.

Contacted via email, The Voice publicity team repeated that Hannah left the show for “personal reasons” and said she’s not currently available for interviews.

Hannah, from Omaha, Neb., had turned four chairs in the blind audition with her performance of “If I Ain’t Got You.”

Because she didn’t participate in the official battle round match, Alexa automatically advanced to the knockout round.
