This is my weekly reminder that you don’t have to miss the eliminated contestants on American Idol.

To the contrary, you can continue to support them by listening to their original music.

Haven Madison and Oliver Steele have both released original music since Season 21 of American Idol began.

Haven was the first contestant we met during the 2023 auditions; Oliver was the last. And they wound up going home on the same night.

Warren Peay hasn’t released original music yet under his own name. But his farewell address to fans made it clear that’s in the works.

Here’s a look at what each of the three said about their time on the show and info about music they have out.

Haven Madison: “My @AmericanIdol journey has come to an end. It has been such an honor to perform on that stage and to have bonded with the people that have turned into extended family along the way. I am so happy to have shared my music with all of you and I hope you keep listening because there’s more where that came from. 🥰 Thank you for helping me live this dream of a lifetime!”

Haven, 17, from Clarkesville, Tenn., performed two of her originals on the show, “15” and “Still Need You.”

Both now have more than 130,000 streams on Spotify. They’re part of a four-song EP called “All the Things I Didn’t Say” that Haven released in 2022.

She also has a newer song out, “Therapy,” which dropped Feb. 22, shortly after her American Idol audition aired.

Warren Peay: “I won’t lie, I get a little emotional writing this post. This has been such an incredible journey, and I am proud to be a part of @americanidol season 21! Thank God for this opportunity, and thank you to all who have voted and supported me this season!

“I can’t wait to hit the road for some shows, as well as get some music out just as soon as I can! I will always cherish the time I’ve been able to spend with new friends and family! CONGRATULATIONS TOP 5!!!

While Warren, 24, of Bambert S.C.,hasn’t released music of his own, he was part of a Christian band called Colston Branch pre-Idol. And they released a self-titled album back in 2019.

Oliver Steele: “So clearly I didn’t get to go to Disney. To be honest, I entered this competition never expecting to win. Shoot, I didn’t expect to get far at all. I came to represent me. And I’ve been getting caught up in what people think I should be.

“Sure, I didn’t claim the title. But I gained a family, a little brother (Iam Tong) … and I met my hero, the man who’s music has gotten me through the last 14 years of my life. Sorry, but explain to me how that’s not winning?”

Oh, and Oliver also had a parting word for Iam: “You better win it all.”

As for music, the 25-year-old from Mount Juliet, Tenn., has released a pair of singles since his run on Idol began “Too Soon” and “As It Was.”

Idol fans will recognize the former. He performed it on the show and it’s now been streamed nearly 100,000 times on Spotify.
