New post-Voice music out includes singles from Jack Cassidy, Dylan Hartigan, Blaine Mitchell and Chance Pena.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music.

Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Jack Cassidy from Season 13 released “Let Go, Let God,” a superb Christian single on Friday. For those who don’t remember, Jack’s the grandson of Shirley Jones, the nephew of David and Shaun Cassidy. And he says he was addicted to cocaine when Jesus answered his call for help. “When people listen to my music, I want them to hear a heart that’s truly been saved, that’s been to the darkest places, that has cried out for Jesus and seen real salvation,” Jack says in a video on his Facebook page. The new single follows “Run at the Giant” as Jack’s second Christian single since The Voice.

* Dylan Hartigan from Season 14 released “Moonlight” on Friday. It’s his first single of 2021 and his fourth since the show. Dylan says “Moonlight” is a song “about love and it’s infinite possibility. I’ve always dreamed of having a love that lasted past death, thru fire, beyond all conceivable doubt. I’m not sure if in this song’s moment I made the right decision. But I am sure that in this moment, I existed forever.” There’s an accompanying music video too.

* Blaine Mitchell from Season 9 released “Ain’t It Fun” on Friday. After a long period of silence, this marks Blaine’s third single since November and, judging from his Instagram, more is on the way. Writes Blaine about “Ain’t It Fun”: “I wrote this in a moment in my life where I had a decision to stay defeated and broken or to focus on what life is truly about. I chose to focus my mind on every beautiful thing I could think of in that moment and this song burst to life from that state of heart.”

* Chance Pena from Season 9 released “Panicked” on Friday. Writes Chance: “A lucid fever dream. One sunny June afternoon in LA, @cambomusic and I met on zoom for the first time and wrote/recorded this tune over the internet — superfluity of resolve.” It’s the first single of 2021 from Chance, who’s released a long string of solid music since the show and displayed one of the most unique male voices from The Voice.
