Jordin’s last album, “Battlefield,” was released in 2009. She’s released just two singles since, “I Am Woman” in 2011 and “Skippin’ a Beat” last year.

Make that three. Jordin released a new single, “It Ain’t You,” last week. You can check it out below.

Jordin was just 17 when she won Idol back in 2007. She turned 25 Tuesday (Dec. 22) and told People in an interview published today that the recording process for the new record was “a very therapeutic process” following her highly-publicized breakup with Jason Derulo, her beau of three years.

“You’re getting all of the emotions on the record,” said Jordin, in an interview you can read here.
