The final four spots on The Voice Season 15 were claimed as the blind auditions concluded Monday night, and the ladies stole the show.

Teenager Emily Hough opened the night with a three-chair turn and opted to join Team Adam Levine, completing his squad of 12.

But the coup of the night might have been scored by Blake Shelton, who landed Katrina Cain after her delightfully different version of Stevie Nicks’ “Rhiannon.”

Blake and Jennifer Hudson — the only coaches with spots left — turned for her performance. Adam and Kelly Clarkson bemoaned the fact that they couldn’t turn.

Emily Hough, 16, of Petersburg, Illinois: She does accents. That’s one of her skills. She says she’s from a small town where it’s not very exciting. She did her first talent show at age 7 and finished third. That convinced her mom the family had a star in its midst. Emily says she thinks her town might be angry if she doesn’t pick Blake because everyone listens to country music. “So I might want to try to learn a little of that,” she says. She’s hoping to make her parents proud because of all they’ve sacrificed for her. Emily auditions with Joni Mitchell’s “Big Yellow Taxi.” Her youth is obvious in her voice. She entices a quick chair turn from Adam Levine. Blake Shelton turns midway through the performance. Jennifer Hudson follows. Dang, nice job Emily. Three- and four-chair turns haven’t been very common in Season 15. Blake compliments her on an angelic voice. Emily says she likes folk music and The Beatles. Adam applauds the fact that she’s so young yet points to The Beatles as inspiration. Emily joins Team Adam, completing his team.

Josh Davis, 20, Cleveland, Tenn.: He’s a personal trainer at a Y. He was inspired to pursue music by his parents. His mom played the piano; his father sang. Josh sang in church and at 16 was offered a record deal as part of a boy group called Three for Three. They were supposed to be a Christian version One Direction, he says. But the band broke up, and Josh says he now finds himself more drawn to secular music. Josh is auditioned with “Too Good at Goodbyes” by Sam Smith and immediately shows off a very nice pop voice. He gets a chair turn from Kelly Clarkson when he hits the chorus. Jennifer Hudson then turns as well. Hey, Josh shows off very nice range too. Kelly says she loves his sexy voice and needs a male on her team. Jennifer echoes those sentiments. Josh goes with Team Kelly.

Lisa Ramey, 33, Brooklyn, N.Y.: She’s performing in a cabaret show in New York and says “I love this show.” She started singing at age 9. She describes herself as a shy kid, though she has a mohawk haircut now and music has helped her develop a big personality. She recalls moving from St. Louis to New York and being basically homeless for a while. Then a band asked her to be their front woman, but Lisa said she wants to be her own artist. She’ll audition with “Beautiful Trauma.” Pretty voice. But it’s sorta rock, sorta pop and Adam and Kelly have full teams. And Lisa is straying off key here and there, so I’m not sure this is going to end up with her on the show. And it doesn’t. No one turns. Which means the end of the road for Lisa because all the Comeback Stage spots have also been filled.

Katrina Cain, 29, Denton, Texas: She got married a few days before The Voice, meaning she and her husband had to cancel their honeymoon so she could compete. Katrina says she’s done music her entire life. She remembers sitting under her grandmother’s piano and singing with her. She gigged a bit during college, but didn’t reveal her originals until after meeting her husband. She performs in a band called TomKat with him; they specialize in electro pop. She also does radio jingles, many of them country since she lives in Texas. Katrina is going to put her own spin on Stevie Nicks’ “Rhiannon.” And this is superb. If the coaches don’t turn for this, they’re crazy. Dang, great voice. And, finally, both Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton turn. That took way too long. Blake said he’s a big fan of her voice. Jennifer loves the way she changed the song up and reminds Katrina she sings all types of music, not just country like Blake. At which point Blake points out that he’s been successful as a Voice coach with all types of artists. Katrina joins Team Blake.

Matt Johnson, 26, Staunton, Va.: He works at a local winery. Yep, he sells wine. But he also provides entertainment there, something he says he’d like to do on a more grand scale. Matt says always felt different growing up. He was one of the only black children in the community where he was raised. He was also gay. Then he got into musical theater, where he says he found himself. He eventually wound up in Houston, enjoyed some success in music, but moved back home when his mother was diagnosed with cancer. He says he’s auditioned for the show since Season 1 and never thought he’d make it this far. He’s auditioning with “Never Too Much” by Luther Vandross. The odds are against him here. Only one coach has a spot left. He holds a big note a the end, and it’s just enough to entice a chair turn from Jennifer Hudson. That will give Matt the very last spot on Season 15. Jennifer loved the passion and hunger in his voice.
