Keith Urban took Entertainer of the Year honors at the 2018 CMA Awards Wednesday night.

It marked the second time Keith has taken home the night’s biggest trophy at the CMAs. He was also named Entertainer of the Year in 2005.

He was also nominated last year when Garth Brooks won the award.

This year, the other nominees in the category included Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Chris Stapleton.

Carrie Underwood hosted Wednesday’s show with Brad Paisley and was also named female vocalist of the year.

That marked Carrie’s fifth win in the category, with the others coming in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2016.

Carrie was also nominated for top honors in the video of the year category for “Cry Pretty.” That award went to Thomas Rhett for “Marry Me.”

And the night didn’t start great for Keith, who missed out on male vocalist of the year honors to Chris Stapleton and album of the year honors to Kacey Musgraves.

Also nominated for an award Wedneday was Lauren Alaina as best new artist. Luke Combs took that award.
