Kelly is nominated for musical event of the year thanks to her performance of “Keeping Score” with Dan + Shay.
She’ll also perform twice during the show, once with that duo and once with Jason Aldean, who’s scheduled to receive an Artist of the Decade award during the show.
Carrie is also on the list of scheduled performers. And she’ll be trying to oust Miranda from her throne as top female vocalist, an honor she’s won for 10 straight years.
The only other nominee among past singing show contestants is Nicolle Galyon, who’s up for a songwriter award for co-writing the smash hit “Tequila.”
Danielle Bradbery had been nominated for new artist of the year in spite of the fact that she’s nearly six years removed from her debut album. But the ACMs haven’t already announced the new artist winners, and the honor went to Ashley McBryde.
Among singing show personalities, Luke Bryan and Keith Urban are up for Entertainer of the Year honors.
CBS is broadcasting the ACM Awards beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday
