Kelly Clarkson debuts country single at CMA Fest

With her “People Like Us” dance anthem still climbing the charts, Kelly Clarkson debuted a new country single over the weekend.

That’s right, a country single.

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Her “Don’t You Want to Stay” duet with Jason Aldean reached the top of the country charts.

And her greatest hits album included a duet with Vince Gill called “Don’t Rush.”

The new song is called “Tie Me Up,” and Kelly sent out a photo of the cover for the single over the weekend.

Yep, it features the engaged Kelly all dressed up as a bride.

Though there was some drama on that front as well over CMA weekend.

Nope, nothing went wrong between Kelly and hubby-to-be Brandon Blackstock.

But Kelly apparently misplaced her engagement ring and had to take the stage with a naked ring finger.

Alas, all turned out fine. “For all the concerned fans, FOUND MY RINGS!” Kelly tweeted Sunday. “Seriously panicked in my head all night long … so did Brandon haha!”

Now, here’s the live version of the new single, followed by photos of Kelly performing.
