Kelly Clarkson, New Idol Music

Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Stronger’ media blitz already under way

Kelly Clarkson’s new album “Stronger” will be available for download Monday, which means we’ll be seeing a lot of the original Idol over the next couple of weeks as part of the media blitz in support of the album.

In fact, the media blitz has already begun with Kelly appearing on “Dancing With the Stars” on Tuesday (see video below) and the U.K. version of the X Factor on Sunday (video above), both times to perform her new hit, “Mr. Know It All.”

Other Kelly appearances coming this week that I’ve heard of so far include Tuesday on the Today show (NBC), Wednesday on The View (ABC), Thursday on the Today show again and Friday on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (NBC).

Meanwhile, if you just can’t wait to hear the new album, Kelly has leaked several tracks already, turning the tables, I suppose, on the folks who have leaked her new material in the past.

In recent days, tracks have been leaked on her website courtesy of the Today show (“Honestly”), Ellen DeGeneres (“I Forgive You”) and Blake Shelton (“The War is Over’).

You can hear all of those plus previous leaks — “Dark Side,” “You Love Me,” and “What Doesn’t Kill You” — on Kelly’s Youtube channel by heading here.

Meanwhile, my favorite part of the video below is Kelly’s honestly about her dancing ability.

That’s OK, Kelly. Just keep releasing music like what we’ve heard so far from “Stronger.”
