Layla Spring made it to the Season 16 finale of American Idol as a guest performer.

She’ll have a chance to make it to the Season 18 finale as a competitor.

Layla, 18, from Marion County, Kentucky, won the special golden ticket to Hollywood awarded as part of an American Music Awards promotion.

She was one of three fan favorites from recent season — along with Logan Johnson and Shawn Robinson — to film an audition at the Whiskey A GoGo in L.A.

A portion of those auditions aired during Sunday’s awards show, and fans were encouraged to vote for their favorite.

Layla was announced as the winner during tonight’s Dancing With the Stars finale.

For her second chance audition, Layla put her own take on the Carrie Underwood hit, “Blown Away.”

Layla made a splash on the show’s 16th season and its first on ABC, auditioning with her adorable younger sister Dyxie and advancing all the way to the Top 24.

She and Dyxie were such fan favorite that they were invited back to perform with LeAnn Rimes in the season finale.

Here are all three of the second-chance auditions.
