Lilith Czar released her debut album Friday, and Juliet Simms has never sounded better.

Lilith is the new stage name for the rocker who finished second on Season 2 of The Voice.

Her new album is “Created From Filth and Dust.” It that evocative title prompts you to check out the new music … well, you won’t be disappointed.

Especially if you always preferred when Juliet rocked out as opposed to taking her rock in more of a pop direction.

The female empowerment anthem “King” was the lead single for the album, which also benefits from two rockers released when Lilith was still Juliet — “Bad Love” and “100 Little Deaths.”

And the album includes a rare cover from Lilith/Juliet as she takes on Steve Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen.

“I know who I am now, completely,” Lilith, 35, says of her new music. “I’ve found my purpose, creating art to inspire others to stand up for what they believe, to fight for their dreams, and to never give up.”

As for the new change …

“When you find yourself beaten down by the world, in those times you can either let it destroy you or let it create you.”

As of Friday afternoon, “Created From Filth and Dust” was number 20 on Apple Music’s rock albums chart and 88 on its overall albums chart.

Here’s the music video for “King.” This one comes with an explicit lyric warning.
