Kelly Clarkson’s new single, “Catch My Breath,” debuted this morning on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.

Listen to the tune above; it will be available for download next Monday.

The song is from her greatest hits album, set for release on Nov. 19.

Ryan also interviewed Kelly and asked her about how it felt to release a greatest hits album at such a young age.

“My label came to me with the idea … and I was like, ‘Really?’ … I feel like that’s something you do when you don’t have anything else to put out.”

But she was sold on the idea when told it would include some new material to make it fun for fans.

As for the song….

“I wrote it with my musical director, who’s been one of my best friends for the last decade,” Kelly told Ryan. “He’s been with me since I won Idol. We wrote it specifically for the fact that like, ‘Man, (it’s been) 10 years. I feel like at 30 I’m finally starting to be happy, settled and figuring out stuff. We wrote it about that.”

Kelly admits the fact that she’s fallen in love has a lot to do with the fact that she feels more settled.

“I know that sounds super-lame and not like cool, hard-core, I’m a Miss Independent girl, but it is true.”

The track list for the album hasn’t been released yet, but here’s betting it includes “Miss Independent.”
