Lynnea Moorer and Ayanna Joni will compete for the final spot in The Voice Season 15 Top 13.

That’s because they advanced again on The Voice Comeback Stage, prevailing in their second round match with Wyatt Rivers.

The Comeback Stage is new to The Voice and offered six auditioners who didn’t turn a chair during the blind auditions a chance to sing their way back onto the show.

With country music star Kelsea Ballerini serving as coach and judge, Lynnea, Ayanna and Wyatt all won first-round comeback stage battles over Madison Cain, Sam Robbins and Ele Ivory, respectively.

In the second round, Lynnea, 19 when she auditioned and from Monterey, Calif., sang “In My Blood.”

Ayanna went with “I Put a Spell on You.” She was 29 at the time of her blind audition and is from Yonkers, N.Y.

And Wyatt, 22 when he auditioned and from Durham, N.C., sang “How Sweet It Is.”

Honestly, I thought Kelsea made a major mistake when she declared Lynnea and Wyatt first-round victors, and nothing in their second-round performances changed my opinion.

Lynnea did deliver a nice tender ending to her song, but Ayanna’s was easily the best of the three performances.

Lynnea and Ayanna will now sing at the end of next week’s Live Playoff results show, with the outcome decided on Twitter, just like the show’s infamous Twitter save.

Remember, Lynnea is from California; Ayanna is from New York.

Also remember that a West Coast contestant has never won a Twitter save on The Voice.

Here are those second-round performances.
