American Idol champ Maddie Poppe and the rest of the Top 7 kick off their summer tour next month.

It’s for her single “Going, Going Gone” and shows Maddie hitting the road to cure her case of wanderlust.

Her vehicle breaks down, but it’s girlfriends to the rescue as she winds up performing for a jubilant crowd.

The video’s timing is pretty darn appropriate. We’re just a couple of weeks away from the start of the American Idol Live Tour.

The Top 7 from Season 16 will be kicking off a 40-plus city tour on July 11 in Redding, Calif. And don’t forget, that tour stops at the York Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 12,
