Blaire Sieber earned a golden ticket to Hollywood for the second straight year in Season 11, auditioning in Savannah.
The Arizona gal who now lives in Boston says she thinks she’s improved substantially since Season 10, and it’s not like she’s not used to being center stage.
She says she started competing in pageants when she was 12.
That led to a concert in the park performance where she said she sang a song that she now admits was a bit risque for her age.
“Which my mom pointed out afterward, but I sang it anyway,” Blaire recalls. “I’ve been singing to bigger crowds ever since.”
Her favorite Idol contestant is Carrie Underwood.
“She went into the country world with the Idol stigma — which I hope to face one day — and she nailed it.”
On Facebook, Blaire classifies her music as country / blues / rock. Her goal — besides becoming the Season 11 American Idol — “keeping the edge in modern country music.”
In last year’s golden ticket interview, Blaire also mentions that she served in the Air Force.
Here are a couple of non-Idol performances by Blaire. If you’d like to hear more, head to her YouTube channel.
