Emma Busse is among the singers who auditioned for Season 21 of American Idol.

American Idol returns to ABC on Sunday, Feb. 19 for its Season 21 premiere.

Here’s a bit more about Emma.

* She’s a graduate of Notre Dame Regional Secondary School, located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

* In 2020, she won that school’s Notre Dame’s Got Talent competition with covers of Whitney Houston’s “Run to You” and “Jealous.”

* The was also involved in musical theater in high school, landing the lead role of Belle in its production of “Beauty and the Beast.”

* Post-high school, she planned to attend the The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.

* She doesn’t appear to have released original music, but has a lovely cover of “Ceilings” by Lizza McAlpine on TikTok, writing “never have I related to a song so much.”
