Lance Tenazas from The Voice Season 30

His audition: Lance Tenazas, 22, Mission Viejo, Calif., “Risk It All” by Bruno Mars: Lance has an interesting singer-songwriter approach to this song. It took a while, but Kelly Clarkson turned with conviction. Not long after that, Riley Green followed. Lance delivered a nice tender ending with a touch of falsetto, but couldn’t entice Adam to turn. Kelly said she loves the urgency in his voice and called his performance “killer and different.” Riley applauded Lance for making the song his own and having a very recognizable voice. Lance opted to join Team Kelly, completing her team. (Watch his audition below)

Here’s more about Lance:

* He’s a 21-year-old singer-songwriter and hip-hop dancer from southern California. And he plays multiple instruments, including guitar, according to his web bio.

* He just released his debut EP called “Open the Blinds.” It’s a five-song project featuring three brand new tracks he had not previously released.

* Writes Lance on social media: “There’s still so much growth ahead of me as an artist, but I’m proud of what I created this year — and now I get to share it with all of you.”

* Lance already had four singles on streaming sites beginning with a debut single called “Feeling” from 2024. He also released a music video for that song.

The debut EP include “Utopia” and “With You,” songs Lance released earlier this year. In fact, he’d also released a single called “Sick and Tired” earlier in 2026.

* Lance has started posting videos introducing himself to fans on social media. He says he’s been seriously pursuing music since he was 14 or 15.

* He started singing earlier, at family reunions and talent shows, and says those were pivotal moments in showing him how much fun it could be being surrounded by a crowd and making them smile because of his music.

* But he says he also struggled with insecurity and was something of an introvert. As a result, that “propelled me to really write about thoughts for myself and pour a little bit of my own world of authenticity into songs.”

* Judging from his social media, the introversion is gone. Check out his very catchy “Sick and Tired” below.
