Luke Colombo of American Idol Season 24
Idol returns to ABC on Monday, Jan. 26 with the judging trio of Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood.
Here’s more about Luke:
* He’s a graduate of Parkersburg High School in Parkersburg, Va.
* He’s a singer-songwriter with lots of original music, though he doesn’t appear to have released any yet.
* Judging from his covers on TikTok and Instagram, Zach Bryan is among his major influences. Thirteen of his 17 covers on YouTube are Zach Bryan songs.
* But Luke’s also been busy as a songwriter. In a July social media post featuring an original called “Love Is a Highway,” he writes “Think I’ve got an album.”
* Those originals also include a Christmas song called “Christmas with Me” that he posted to Instagram in late November.

* Luke announced his Idol audition in mid-December, writing,” Well that didn’t even seem real … I recently had the blessing of being casted on the new season of AMERICAN IDOL.” He posted several photos of himself interacting with other cast members.
