What we missed: Megan told Voice Views “Killing Me Softly” is one of her all-time favorite songs. “It is the song that introduced me to soul music and helped me find my voice and go through tough times of my past,” she explains. Megan says she recalls being extremely nervous and that might have affected her performance. Alicia turned around at about the midway point.

On landing on Team Alicia: “I was super, super happy that Alicia turned because I do love R&B and soul. And that’s definitely one of the main genres that I like to sing, including pop. And, you know, she does it all so I’m really, really lucky that she became my coach.”
