The battle rounds begin tonight on The Voice. Check out the members of Team Adam Levine who will be hoping to advance.
This 22-year-old from Jones Creek, Texas, got all four judges to spin their chairs with his version of “God Bless the Broken Road.” He dedicated his performance to his mother, who recently died of cancer. According to his bio on The Voice website, he’s been singing country music since he was 7 and supports himself showing cows while pursuing a music degree from Belmont University.

She’s been singing for a while, having fronted an alternative/pop band called Dirty Pollyanna that released a self-titled EP in 2010 and a full-length CD last year. You can check out some of her songs on both her MySpace site and the band’s. Apparently, she went as Angie with Dirty Pollyanna.

Devon Barley (defeated Rebecca Loebe in Battle Round)
He looks like former Idol contestant Kevin Covais and was studying medicine before deciding to put that career on hold to compete on The Voice, a decision Devon admits did not thrill his parents. But he sang Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” well enough that Adam and Cee Lo Green wanted him on their teams. Devon is 19 and a former choirboy from Massachusetts, according to his bio on The Voice website.

He also calls himself the “King of Almost,” according to The Voice, a reference to the fact that he always seems on the verge of making it big, but never quite has. It’s one of several recordings he’s released that are available on iTunes.
