Her background: She’s the mother to two children, an 8-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son. She makes her living playing music in Nashville and says it’s a bit grueling raising two children and singing long shifts for tips at night. But Natalie says she wants her children to see their mother doing what she loves and shining on stage.
On picking Adam: “My top two picks were actually Blake and Kelly and neither of them turned. And when I saw how quickly and excited Adam had turned around, I guess I just had it within me to just go with him,” Natalie told Voice Views, adding she was impressed by his wide array of musical influences. “And so as an artist, for me and my love for all genres of music and kind of incorporating that into my shows and my performance, he really spoke to me the most. When I saw him turn around, I was like, ‘You know what, let’s go with Adam because he obviously heard something that he really thought he could cultivate and he enjoyed.”
Previous post:
* Natalie’s dad was a one-man band as a touring musician and inspired her to follow in his footsteps, according to her bio on The Voice website.
* Natalie says her father is her musical “hero.” “He’s so talented,” she says. “He plays every instrument on the plant — trumpet, drums — and he sings.”
* Though a native of Tulsa, Okla., Natalie and her children were living in Panama City, Fla., when she decided to make the move to Nashville. “I decided on a Friday I was moving and by Monday I was on the road,” she said in an interview last year with 30A Songwriter Radio. “It was one of those spur of the moment things where people were like, ‘That makes no sense.’ It totally made sense after me hearing from so many people who had been in the business, ‘You should go to Nashville.'”
* As a songwriter, she said her work has been pretty diverse. “My band is what has helped define me as an artist and give me the sound that really speaks to me and speaks to my soul,” she said in a conference call with the media after her blind audition aired.
* She describes the band’s sound as “that southern gritty rock-blues-country kind of swag-thing. It’s something that I think could appeal to everybody.”
* She’s been performing as the Natalie Brady Band. Other band members include Justin Tolley, Jonathan Sachar, Mike Spurgat, Jon Galletti and Chase Adams.
* Natalie hasn’t released original music yet, but you can check out some of her originals on her ReverbNation page and her YouTube channel. I’ve embedded “Love It When You Leave Me” below.
* Oh, and the original music is coming. Natalie said she and the band are beginning full production on a debut album next month with hopes of releasing it next year.
* Back in 2009, Natalie won the Panhandle’s Got Talent competition. While in Panama City, she also worked as a singing waitress at Sharky’s Beach Club.

Love you Natalie!!!!
Bring Natalie back. Only real rocker and she could win it all
Please Bring Natalie back! I don’t know how you can always favor the people with the same sound. aren’t the music industry looking for something new? Natalie is awesome! it was Adams song pic that didn’t show off her vocals well enough. it catered to the other guy. We need Natalie back! she deserves to be on there! I have watched this show every season and it just isn’t fair anymore. very sad! you are losing some amazing voices! please re-vamp the blinds! let the audience choose!
I second TAMI LEVYs perfect words. Love Natalies voice:)
Greetings from Sweden
