Ricardo Moreno of The Voice Season 27

His audition: Ricardo Moreno, 25, Tracy, Calif., performed “Put You Head on My Shoulder” by Paul Anka: Ricardo turned in a solid performance and even did a bit of the song in Spanish. But no one had turned when the song ended. Adam Levine called it a great performance and blamed the lack of a chair turn on Michael Buble, saying everyone expected him to turn. Michael said he heard so much that he liked, then pressed him coach replay button.

Here’s more about Ricardo.

* He’s a bilingual singer in his mid-20s from Los Angeles.

* And he built quite a following on TikTok, with more than 155,000 followers and more than 3.7 million likes on his posts there.

* Three clips of Ricardo singing in Spanish have more than 1 million views on the site. One has 8 million.

* But the young man also sounds great singing in English. Just check out his cover of “Georgia on My Mind” below.

* Back in 2015, at age 15, he apparently competed in the Univision singing competition La Banda in which the winners were placed in bands.

* A Univision clip from the time says Ricardo was already famous singing at his church and wanted to take his talent to the next level.

* In announcing his appearance on The Voice, Ricardo writes: “I prayed for opportunities like these and god blessed with this. I’m excited to say I auditioned for Season 27.”
