* He’s from Philadelphia, Pa., and a 22-year-old graduate of Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio.

* He’s been heavily involved in musical theater, including being cast in one of the lead roles in a university production of “The Wild Party” and playing Johnny in Weathervane Theatre’s production of “American Idiot” in 2021.

* According to a promo for that production, Ricky also has some pretty impressive skills as a puppeteer.

* Last year around this time, he was preparing for a Baldwin University Senior Showcase in New York City where he planned to perform “Let Me Drown” from The Wild Party and “If I Can’t Love Her” from Beauty and the Beast.

* Ricky demonstrates his vocal versatility and his sense of humor in a 28-minute senior recital video called “Rick of All Trades” on his YouTube channel.

* He has nearly 300 followers and more than 17,000 likes on his TikTok, where one of his most recent covers is Adam Lambert’s “If I Had You.” He calls the former Idol star “4ever one of my favorites.”

* He’s a graduate of Neshaminy High School in the Philly area and lives in Levittown, Pa., according to his Facebook page.

* Ricky was a standout in musical theater even then, representing his high school at the Pennsylvania State Thespian Conference and earning a spot in the nationals after earning a “superior” rating for his performance there. He also performed with the Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company.
