Viewers didn’t get to see much of Megan Lee on The Voice Season 14.

Both her blind audition and her battle round match were montaged, meaning we saw only a tiny snippet of it.

And she was eliminated in the battle round after singing “Versace on the Floor” with Johnny Bliss, a four-chair turn recipient in the show’s opening round.

But Megan says we’ll be hearing more from her very soon. Check out what she told Voice Views about her time on the show and her plans moving forward.

Voice Views: I know the battles were filmed a while back. What have you been doing musically since then?

Megan: I’ve been writing lots of music and working on more music videos and other content on my YouTube! I have a song called “Ice Cold” with Dj4B coming out very soon!

Voice Views: Where do you see your time on the show leading you musically? Do you envision releasing more music anytime soon and, if so, what can you tell me about that? I know you’ve also done some acting. Are other entertainment-related projects in the works?

Megan: As mentioned in my previous answer I do have another original collab coming out soon. I am writing more songs of my own for release in the near future! As for acting, I’m continuing to audition and hopefully find my next project soon 🙂

Voice Views: Do you think you grew as an artist as a result of The Voice experience? If so, in what way?

Megan: I definitely learned so much from Alicia and from being on a huge show like The Voice. I’m really glad I was able to challenge myself and try something new. I have always wanted to be on the show and I’m really happy and blessed that I got to finally experience it.

Voice Views: Other than the new friends you made, what do you think you’ll remember most about the experience?

Megan: With no doubt, performing in front of four amazing artists who I have looked up to my whole life, was an experience I will never forget. Working with Alicia and getting mentored by her was priceless to me and I’m very honored.

Megan, 22 when she auditioned, is far from a novice in the entertainment business. She starred on the Nickelodeon show “Make It Pop,” released music in conjunction with that role and also under her own name, both in the U.S. and South Korea.
