Melanie Martinez tour Melanie Martinez’s “K-12” album and film are now available for pre-order.

And anyone doing so before 5 p.m. Monday through Melanie’s web store will get pre-sale access to tickets for her upcoming tour.

In what has to be the most ambitious project a Voice alum has ever attempted, Melanie will release her “K-12” album and film simultaneously on Sept. 6.

Because it’s a concept album, she’s explained that she won’t be releasing singles before the full project comes out. She has released snippets of some of the songs on YouTube.

Melanie also wrote and directed the film and has released the official trailer, which you can check out below.

The album is available from her web store for $7.99; the album and film for $14.99. And all sorts of bundles and other merchandise is also available.

The tour will kick off Oct. 13 with a show at the All Things Go Fall Classic festival in Washington, D.C.

U.S. dates run through mid-November and also include an Oct. 30 show at The Fillmore in Philly.

An overseas tour will follow, and $1 from each ticket will go to the Trevor Project and its work providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ youth.

“It’s been a bit since I’ve been on tour and I’m incredibly excited to bring the movie to life on stage,” Melanie says.

“I’m putting all of my energy into making it not only visually stunning and pleasing to the senses but also a fun learning experience and a safe place to express yourself and be accepted for exactly who you are.”

“K-12” marks the sophomore album from Melanie. Her debut, “Cry Baby,” spent a full two years on the Billboard 200.

Here’s that trailer. As of Sunday, it had been viewed more than 3.5 million times.
