Michelle Chamuel celebrates the comfort of music on her new EP

Chamuel, runner-up on Season 4 of The Voice, has released a new six-track pop EP.

The EP is called “Feel It” and includes two versions of the title track.

Michelle told AfterEllen.com that the song “is about how music, in general, makes me feel better.

“If I feel like something’s missing, and I don’t know what it is, the music’s there and I don’t have to deal with it alone, and I feel like that’s what music is for a lot of people.”

Michelle released the EP independently, and it’s all the more impressive because it’s pretty much a one-woman project.

Not only did Michelle write the songs, she produced, mixed and mastered the EP, her first major release since last year’s “Face the Fire” album.

In addition to the title track above, Michelle has posted full audio of three other tracks on her YouTube channel. But don’t miss out on the one track she doesn’t have there — “The Wish We Made,” featuring a vocal assist from Christopher Norman.

It’s incredibly addictive, now to mention my favorite track on the EP, and you can check it out on her Bandcamp page.

Oh, you can also order physical copies of the EP there, including personalized copies Michelle will embellish with her own drawings.
