This year marked some impressive collaborations from former contestants on The Voice.

And two more came out as the year wound down, with Danielle Bradbery and Matthew Schuler lending their vocal talents to new singles.

As a bonus, I’m including in this blog a late-released holiday single from another former Voice contestant, Michelle Chamuel.

As always, the links below take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out Spotify snippets in the playlist below.

Daniel Bradbery, the Season 4 champ, is featured artist on a song called “Make You Mine” by PUBLIC, a male pop trio signed to Island Records. PUBLIC released “Make You Mine” as a single in August. Writes the group on Instagram: “It’s a privilege to have the beautiful voice of @daniellebradbery on a version of #makeyoumine and to a have a feature from an artist who primarily lives in a different genre than our own. Music is cool.”

Matthew Schuler from Season 5 is a featured vocalist on “Moving On,” the latest single from Dosk. Never heard of Dosk? He’s a young DJ/producer out of Philly. “Ever since I saw @matthewschulerofficial perform on @nbcthevoice I became a big fan of him,” Dosk writes on Instagram. “Fast forward five years and I still can’t believe we worked together to make this song.” Matthew was Top 6 on The Voice.

Michelle Chamuel, the Season 4 runner-up, dropped a holiday tune just before Christmas. It’s called “A Complicated Time of Year” and I suppose that sort of applies since New Year’s isn’t over yet. Michelle admits the idea hit her sorta last minute, but she decided to write a song that tackled all the positives of the holidays without ignoring the negatives (like stress, working during the holidays, feeling left out, etc.). “And I LOVE CHRISTMAS TUNES!! So, it felt like a win win,” she writes on Instagram.
