So, you’re trying to predict the outcome of The Voice based solely on how Monday’s performances did on iTunes?

Good luck.

When voting closed at 10 a.m., six songs from Monday’s show had cracked the iTunes Top 10 download chart, and that includes a pair from each artist.

But right behind her at number three was Michelle Chamuel with “Why.”

And right behind her at number four was The Swon Brothers with “Danny’s Song,” their reprise number on Monday’s show.

Wow. Voice viewers must have been downloading like crazy since 10 p.m. Monday.

Though it’s Season 4, this is only the second time The Voice has followed this three-performer finale format.

But placing six songs in the Top 10 on iTunes doubles the number from Season 3, when Cassadee Pope landed at number one (“Cry”) and number seven (“Without You”) after her final round of performances and Terry McDermott joined her in the Top 10 with “Broken Wings” (number five).

As for tonight’s outcome … what the iTunes results show is that no one gained much ground on Danielle via iTunes downloads. If anything, she probably gained a little because all three of her songs landed in the top 11.

And, in that case, she probably holds a sizable edge in total iTunes voting since the live shows began. Remember, all downloads since the finals count toward contestants’ vote totals tonight.
