The coaches on The Voice had more praise for DaNica Shirey during the live playoffs Tuesday night.

The question is whether her performance was enough to land a spot in the Top 12 next week.

DaNica sang for Team Pharrell Williams, along with teammates Sugar Joans, Luke Wade, Jean Kelley and Elyjuh Rene.

Three of those singers will advance to next week’s finals, and we’ll find out who during a special Wednesday night results show.

Fans will vote two singers through to next week. Then Pharrell will have to select the third singer to advance; the remaining two will be eliminated from the competition.

DaNica, 25, is the first York contestant on the show and was impressive through the first three rounds.

She turned three coaches’ chairs with her blind audition to earn a spot on the show, then won both her battle and knockout round matches.

Tuesday night, she sang Joni Mitchell’s “Help Me,” a song Pharrell rated an as a “10” on the difficulty scale.

What did the coaches think?

Gwen Stefani said DaNica sounded “gorgeous.” Adam Levine loved the song choice and the way Pharrell and DaNica “flipped” a Joni Mitchell song and turned it R&B.

Blake Shelton dubbed DaNica’s performance “a clinic for singers.” And Pharrell called her “a hummingbird” and said it’s amazing what she can do with her voice.
