Most of the American Idol singles tumbled on the charts this week.

Most of the Idol albums advanced.

Of course, unless your name happens to be Carrie Underwood, in which case it’s all good.

Here’s a rundown of where the Idols stand on music charts this week.

Kris Allen: The “Live Like We’re Dying” single peaked at number 23 last week. This week, it’s down just one spot on the Hot 100, but advances from eight to seven on the adult pop song chart. Kris Allen’s album surged on the Billboard 200, moving from 122 to 116.

Kelly Clarkson: While Kelly’s working on album number five, album number four — “All I Ever Wanted” — re-enters the Billboard 200 at number 193, 47 weeks after its release. Her latest single, “Already Gone,” slips from 30 to 34 on the Hot 100, but moves up two spots to number five on the adult contempoary chart.

Daughtry: “Life After You,” the second single from the band’s second album, got as high as number 48 on the Hot 100 and doesn’t look like it’s going any higher. This week, it slips from 51 to 52. But that album, “Leave This Town,” bolts from 66 to 53 on the Billboard 200. And Daughtry’s debut abum moves up from 181 to 157.

Adam Lambert: Last year’s Idol runner-up is still searching for that first big hit. “Whataya Want From Me” is stalled at number 35 on the Hot 100. But his first single, “For Your Entertainment,” long dead on the Hot 100, is showing life on the club singles chart, moving up from 25 to 19. The album by the same name slips from 36 to 49 on the Billboard 200.

Kellie Pickler: The season five contestant’s latest single, “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You,” hits a new peak of 18 this week on the country singles chart, up one spot from a week ago. Kellie’s album is back up to 29 on the county CD chart, a three-spot advance.

Ruben Studdard: The season two winner has one of the biggest movers on the R&B singles chart this week. “Don’t Make ‘Em Like U No More” moves from 40 to 35. The song is off “Love Is,” the album of love ballads Ruben released last year.

Carrie Underwood: “Cowboy Casanova” disappears from the Hot 100, but who cares? I mean, Carrie’s new single, “Temporary Home,” jumps nine spots on the Hot 100 to number 61 and two spots on the country singles chart to number eight. Her album goes all the way from 29 to 18 on the Billboard 200. And her first two albums — “Some Hearts” at 144 and “Carnival Ride” at 156 — are also on the Billboard 200. The represents a 33-spot move up the chart for “Some Hearts.”
