Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

With an infusion of Christmas albums, Adam Lambert’s debut CD, “For Your Entertainment,” got bumped out of the Billboard 200 this week.

Oh, well, the CD debuted at number three and held onto a chart position for 50 weeks. Only Carrie Underwood’s “Play On” and Daughtry’s “September” have been on longer among current Idol releases.

And that’s a heck of a lot longer than the debut from fellow season eight finalist Kris Allen, which released around the same time and disappeared from the Billboard 200 at the end of March.

Among other Idol music chart highlights this week:

* “Mama’s Song” continues a slow advance on the country singles chart for Carrie Underwood, moving up a new peak of number 11. It was number 14 six weeks ago. It’s also at a new high of 59 on the Hot 100.

* Advancing more rapidly on the R&B/Hip-Hop singles chart is Fantasia’s “I’m Doin’ Me,” which moves up four spots from 20 to 16. Her previous single, “Bittersweet,” reached number seven on that chart.

* Advancing just as rapidly on the Christian singles chart is Jason Castro’s “You Are.” Number 25 a week ago, it jumps to number 21.

Now, the complete rundown …
