Natasia Greycloud had already been saved by a steal once on Season 15 of The Voice.

She wasn’t at all sure she’d be rescued a second time following her Team Kelly Clarkson knockout round match.

Forced into a three-way knockout because Cody Ray Raymond left the show, Natasia turned in a highly praised performance of Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey.”

But Kelly proclaimed Kymberli Joye and Zaxai the knockout round winners, advancing them to the live playoffs and putting Natasia in jeopardy of elimination.

“I was completely surprised by being stolen by Blake,” Natasia told Voice Views, referring to the eventual outcome.

“He made it pretty clear that he already had a plan for his steal, so when it was decided that Kymberli and Zaxai were going through I pretty much thought my time on the show had come to an end. But Blake definitely had me fooled ”

We’ll next see Natasia in the live playoffs on Monday, Nov. 12, singing for Team Blake Shelton.

“I’m extremely excited to start working with him,” she said. “I think he has great strategy, and an ear for individual artists and what they can bring to the table.”

Nashville-based Natasia was 29 when she auditioned and landed a spot on Team Jennifer Hudson. Here’s what else she had to say about her knockout round experience.

Voice Views: We heard a bit about your song choice on the show, but can you elaborate on why you picked that song and how you thought it worked out for you?

Natasia: I have loved “Tennessee Whiskey” and its bluesy, soulful quality. I think it shows off so many elements of my voice and what I can do. So I believed it would be a great way to show my technique and versatility. It also has sentimental meaning. I sang it at my sister’s wedding during her first dance.

Voice Views: The latest team switch means you will have been with three different Voice teams heading into the live playoffs. Do you see that as an advantage or disadvantage and why?

Natasia: I definitely see it as an advantage, and a privilege. Having the expertise of three different masters in their genre is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So I feel like I have a lot in my arsenal going into the live shows.

Voice Views: I know you can’t reveal song choices, but is there a facet of your musicianship you’d like to put front and center as you continue on the show?

Natasia: I would love to showcase myself more as a performer moving forward. I think I’ve showcased that I can bring technique vocally. So I’m excited to bring some different facets of a performer to the table. And possibly playing piano. I am a piano player, and have been since I was 4 years old, so that’s definitely something I have thought about bringing out at some point.

Voice Views: Anything else you’d like to add about the knockout experience?

Natasia: Working with Kelly Clarkson was a dream come true, and I learned so much about myself as an artist. I’m grateful for the experience and can’t wait for the live playoffs!
