Recent post-Voice releases include songs from Brynn Cartelli, Grant Ganzer and Mendeleyev.

My apologies for the delay getting to these songs, which were released early last month. I was a bit busy researching the 56 contestants who will earn spots on Season 22 of The Voice.

Brynn Cartelli, the Season 14 champ at age 15, recently dropped a new single called “Girl Code.” It’s about being attracted to a guy, but not wanting to steal him from a friend. That said, it’s also about the night she met her boyfriend. Says Brynn, now 19 and New York-based: “I can’t help but write revealing songs about my life, ‘Girl Code’ is a spilled secret about one of my favorite nights in New York City so far.” Brynn spent much of the summer on tour as an opener for OneRepublic and Needtobreathe. Grant Ganzer from The Voice Season 7

Grant Ganzer from Season 7 released a song called “Imposter”log last month. It follows “Shirley Temple” as his second single of 2022. Both have already surpassed 100,000 streams on Spotify. Says Grant of his fans: “The way you’ve all received ‘Imposter’ has made me feel heard and seen like I’ve never felt before. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to feel it.”

Mendeleyev from Season 17 released a single last month called “Running Man.” Says the singer: “I wanted to combine retro 80’s rock with EDM … so I did.” Congrats also go out to Mendeleyev for recently receiving his master’s degree from Berklee New York City as part of its inaugural Class of 2022. “Running Man is his first release of 2022, but follows a 2021 in which he released both a pop album and a folk album.
