Recent post-Voice releases include new singles from Texas Hill and Blind Joe and a new version of Billy Gilman’s debut single.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

* Texas Hill is back with a new song called “Neon Heart.” For those unfamiliar, Texas Hill is the trio of Seven 7 champ Craig Wayne Boyd, Season 10 runner-up Adam Wakefield and former American Idol standout Casey James. “‘Neon Heart’ is one of the first songs we started singing together, and one of our favorites to play live,” the guys write on Instagram. Congrats are in order too. Adam recently wed longtime companion Jenny Leigh. Meanwhile, Craig Wayne and wife Taylor welcomed their new daughter, Blakely Kay, on April 26. She’s their fourth child together and Craig’s fifth.

* Blind Joe from Season 9 released “Light of Her Love” last week. He calls it a “rock and roll meets country, Lynyrd Skynyrd meets Brad Paisley” type tune. It follows “Cuss in County” as his second single of 2021.

* Billy Gilman and Home Free have teamed up for a new version of “One Voice,” the Top 40 hit that put Billy on the map when he was 11 years old back in 2000. “The words are needed just as much today as they were when they first were released,” Billy writes on Instagram. Home Free is the a cappella quintet of Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. Home Free released its new version of the song to highlight the performance of Mental Health Awareness Month.
