Alexa Cappelli from The Voice Season 14

Alexa Cappelli from Season 14 is back with another catchy singing, rocking out again breaking up with a friend in “Lose Lose.” She co-wrote the tune, released on Arista Records, with Skyler Stonestreet and Pom Pom. Says Alexa in a press release: “I wrote ‘Lose Lose’ while going through a friend breakup, It helped me process and validate myself after consistently validating this person for years, only to still be blamed for their problems and sadness. I hope my fans can find relief in it from any toxic relationships, as a marker to realize enough is enough. Everyone is responsible for their own emotions and decisions, and friendships are meant to help build each other up, not tear down.”

Carter Rubin from The Voice Season 19

Carter Rubin, the show’s Season 19 champ, has released his second single since the show, a ballad called “Time Machine.” It’s about yearning for love lost. Says Carter, now 17: “I wrote ‘Time Machine’ when I was feeling heartbroken over a girl who was with someone else and wishing that I told her how I felt when I had the chance. Second chances don’t come along too often so I wrote about the things I would’ve done if I could go back in time, maybe things could’ve been different now.” Carter’s first post-show single, “Horoscope,” has been streamed more than 225,000 times on Spotify.

Jason Warrior from The Voice Season 11

Jason Warrior from Season 11 has released a sultry new single called “Love for You.” Writes Jason: “It’s Cuffing Season! Time to take it back to that red light special.” He’s also released a music video of him performing the song, which you can check out on YouTube. The Voice was just the beginning of Jason’s singing competition journey. He stirred up controversy on Season 1 of The Four, then did some career redemption on Season 24 of American Idol Season 19, making it to the Top 24 before being eliminated.
