American Idol judges managed to botch a couple more semifinal selections Thursday night.

When the dust settled and two hours of mostly mediocre performances ended, Cortez Shaw, Nick Boddington, Burnell Taylor, Vincent Powell and Lazaro Arbos were heading to next week’s semifinal round.

And Josh Holiday, Gurpreet Singh Sarin, Bryant Tadeo, Mathenee Treco and (most disappointingly) David Willis were heading home.

Among the guys: Burnell Taylor, Charlie Askew, Cortez Shaw, Curtis Finch, Devin Velez, Elijah Liu, Lazaro Arbos, Nick Boddington, Paul Jolley and Vincent Powell.

Among the gals: Adriana Latonio, Amber Holcomb, Angela Miller, Aubrey Cleland, Breanna Steer, Candice Glover, Janelle Arthur, Kree Harrison, Tenna Torre and Zoanette Johnson.
