New music released recently include post-Voice singles from Brian Nhira, Gigi Rich and Manny Cabo.
Nobody’s Girl, a trio including former Voice contestant Rebecca Loebe, also released the third song from an upcoming album on the Lucky Hound Music label.
Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

* Nobody’s Girl released a fun new single called “Rescued” and an accompanying music video Friday. “The new song is all about letting loose and having fun, which we 100 percent believe we can still do safely and from a distance,” the trio of Rebecca Loebe (from The Voice Season 1), Grace Pettis and BettySoo write on Instagram. But the idea behind the video was to create a line dance for the song, a concept made a bit more challenging by the pandemic. To solve the problem, the trio had family and friends learn the line dance and submit clips of them doing it, which were then edited together. The song follows “Kansas” and “Tiger” as releases from the trio’s upcoming debut album, due out in February 2021.
* Brian Nhira from Season 10 released “His Child” last week. It’s a song dedicated to his son Zayden Glory, who Brian and wife Sonia welcomed into the world in May. Brian wrote the song with Kevin Rooney and Mike Hicks. “His Child is so special,” Brian writes, “because it lets Zayden know that yes, I am his father, but he has a Father in Heaven who created him and loves him so much!” And though written for his son, Brian adds “this song is for every child of God out there.” Brian and Sonia relive the joyous experiene of Zayden’s birth in the accompanying music video.
* Gigi Rich from Season 7 released her new pop single “Sober” on Friday. Writes Gigi on Instagram: “This song is dedicated to all my heartbroken humans. Stream it, share it, do a dance on tik tok to it, let go of THAT person that broke your heart.” It follows “Aura” as the second single of 2020 from Gigi, who we met on The Voice as Gianna Salvato.
* Manny Cabo from Season 9 recently released a single called “All Night Again.” Written by Bonnie Warren, it’s his dedication to health care and other front-line and essential workers during the pandemic. He says he recorded the song because he feels they deserve “our respect, recognition, our empathy and, above all, our support for being there for us.” There’s likely to be more Manny music coming because he’s posted a photo of construction work on “my own custom vocal booth because of the amount of new music that I have to record and unleash to all of you.”
