After American Idol’s season finale ended, fans got to vote for which non-winner they’d like to see perform live on Live with Kelly and Ryan. The winner was Julia Gargano, who appeared on the show Thursday and performed her original “Growing Pains.” The 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Staten Island, N.Y., called it “a full-circle moment,” noting…
In one of the best pieces of news from either singing show in a while, Ryan Seacrest announced during the American Idol finale that Laci Kaye Booth from Season 17 has signed a record deal. That deal is with 19 Recordings and the Big Machine Label Group, home to several popular country acts, including Lady…
Something very deserving happened Tuesday night on The Voice. And I’m not necessarily talking about Todd Tilghman’s victory. The pastor from Meridian, Mississippi, 41 when…

Even though streams and downloads of songs from the show don’t count for votes this spring, Todd’s “Long Way Home” rocketed to number two on the overall singles chart by midnight, two hours after the show ended….
The Top 5 on The Voice will square off in the performance finale Monday night with the Season 18 winner due to be announced Tuesday. And if you’re thinking, ‘Gee, that was fast,’ you’d be correct. The three weeks — playoffs to season finale — is the shortest schedule in show history. And it’s…
