This week, the former American Idol standout released the music video for “Hold On” from that album.
And it’s one of the more imaginative — and psychedelic — music videos we’ve seen from a former singing show star in 2018.
“Directed by my long time pal and mastermind/artistic genius @jasonleedenton,” Paul writes on Facebook. “This is my favorite one yet.”
In the video, an obviously exasperated Paul deals with a room full of mannequins, and one particularly hard-to-please female mannequin.
“It was a little like a therapy session for both me and the girl, but at the same time it’s a little tongue-in-cheek and over-exaggerated,” Paul told Billboard, which premiered the video on Thursday.
Here’s the video for “Hold On.”
