Phillip Phillips is preparing to release an EP of live performances.
The Season 11 American Idol tweeted about the three-track EP yesterday.
A check of his website shows it will be released around Nov. 15.
It won’t feature a live version of his mega-hit “Home;” after all, one was featured on the deluxe version of his debut album.
It will feature “Gone, Gone, Gone” as well as “Man on the Moon” and “Where We Came From.”
All were recorded during Phillip’s summer tour with John Mayer, and you can pre-order it here.
If you just can’t wait for new versions of Phillip’s songs, iTunes has the answer.
Earlier this month, the site released its iTunes Session with Phillip Phillips, featuring stripped-down versions of nine of his songs. “Home” is included this time. So is “Take Me Away,” a previously unreleased track.
And don’t forget, Phillip will be in town next month, performing a sold-out show at the Penn State York Pullo Center on Thursday, Nov. 7. Check back then for coverage of that show.
