Two singers from Pennsylvania took the stage during The Voice battle rounds Wednesday night.
James Wolpert, 22, the Lampeter-Strasburg grad, advanced by defeating Will Champlin in a Team Adam battle round.
But Matt Chermanski, 20, of Phoenixville, didn’t fare as well, losing to James Irwin. They were also members of Team Adam Levine.
Also winning battle rounds on Monday were Josh Logan and Destinee Quinn of Team Christina, George Horga Jr. of Team Cee Lo and Austin Jenckes of Team Blake.
Three other artists earned steals after being defeated in battle rounds.
Adam Levine picked up Lina Gaudenzi and Juhi; Christina saved Will.
