They return to the stage in just five days, so it’s time to rank the Top 10 on The Voice.

Follow the links below, and you’ll find a bio and videos of all the Voice performances by each contestant.

Hey, and if you’d rank the contestants differently, let me know by posting a comment below.

The number in parenthesis is last week’s ranking.

Check back over the weekend. I’ll update where the contestants stand on social media. And I’ll be live blogging as always during the Monday performance show and the Tuesday results show.

Now, the rankings …

1. Matt McAndrew (#1, Team Adam): Nothing that happened on Top 12 night would prompt me to bump Matt from number one. Instead, he solidified his rank with the best performance of the week and a Top 10 song (“Take Me to Church”) on iTunes.

2. Craig Wayne Boyd (#3, Team Blake): He’s coming off another excellent performance. Now we know Craig Wayne can play balladeer as well as he can rock. And consider this: In Season 7, there’s no one else to splinter the country vote.

3. Damien Lawson (#7, Team Adam): I almost wrote off this guy after a knockout round performance of “How Do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes that I thought he was fortunate to win. In the past two weeks, he’s proven the folly of that opinion.

4. Taylor John Williams (#4, Team Gwen): I wasn’t thrilled with his performance of Bread’s “If,” but fans loved it (#34 on iTunes) and I still think this young singer-songwriter is a legitimate threat to make the finals.

5. Anita Antoinette (#5, Team Gwen): She got to close Top 12 night with the “Redemption Song,” but “All About that Bass” remains her standout performance. Gwen should look for more songs like that to broaden Anita’s appeal.

6. Luke Wade (#6, Team Pharrell): He flubbed the lyrics and still had one of the best-selling singles on iTunes, cracking the Top 40. He’s such a professional — and appeared so ticked at himself — that I don’t expect that to happen again.

7. DaNica Shirey (#8, Team Pharrell): Her fabulous voice prevailed again. Now she needs another battle-round “Halo” type moment to propel her from middle-of-the-packer to a front-runner for the Season 7 crown.

8. Reagan James (#2, Team Blake): The coach and the singer better get on the same page soon or young Reagan will be ousted much earlier than she deserves to be. Top 12 night’s “It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over” was a misfire, not nearly as good as the previous week’s “Try.”

9. Chris Jamison (#12, Team Adam): If there’s any justice in Voice land, he’ll open Monday’s show. I watched again and I still don’t get it, but he impressed lots of people with his cover of Nick Jonas’s “Jealous.” The song finished fourth best on iTunes from Top 12 night.

10. Ryan Sill (#10, Team Gwen): He’s bucking pretty big odds in order to make the Top 8. Over the past two seasons, seven singers have received saves in the finals. Only Kat Perkins managed to survive beyond the following week.

To have Reagan James so low amidst this bunch of performers, who are by no means The Voice’s ticket to a super star, is a big error on your part. I have never liked R&B and probably never will but talent is talent. None of the other performers left offers anything close to future stardom but Reagan. I she fails The Voice can get on with the next season because it’s another failure to find the next star.

Craig missed it by one spot for top 10 on itunes. #1 ON COUNTRY CHART. Matt might be your #1 pick, but mine is Craig. I hope he WINS THE WHOLE THING!

I would love to hear Craig sing ” The Wings of a Dove” by Ferlin Husky, or something by Jim Reeves.

Danica is the most talented performer this year, but her shy image holds her back. Time for a makeover.

I would have Chris and Reagan higher, but the Top2 are definitely right, IMO.
