The Voice Top 5 take the stage Monday night in the show’s Season 27 performance finale.

As in recent seasons, each finalist will perform one upbeat song and one ballad.

Fans will be able to vote for their favorite from 8 p.m. eastern time to 7 a.m. eastern time.

Voting takes place via The Voice app and The Voice website. Fans are limited to one vote per email address per method.

In terms of fan support, I’m not sure there’s a clearcut favorite entering Monday’s show.

Finalists have performed just five times to get to this point.

And thanks to the show’s Season 27 format, those five performances have been stretched over a period of 15 weeks.

In contrast, American Idol finalists have performed 11 times in voting shows in the past month alone. Plus, they had to perform four other times to get to that point.

Here’s how I’m ranking the Top 5.

1. Renzo (Team Legend), 33, Philadelphia: From a performance standpoint, he should be the clear favorite. His delivery of “Dream On” in the semifinals screamed “I want to win this thing” in a way none of the night’s other performances did. Competing as Dennis Lorenzo, he finished Top 10 on American Idol seven years ago and could join Sundance Head as the second former Idol standout to win The Voice.

2. Lucia Flores-Wiseman (Team Adam), 22, Maple Valley, Wash.: Eight singers turned four chairs during the blind auditions in Season 27. Only Lucia remains. She lands here because of her distinct voice. And she lands here because she’s already proven she can go upbeat and sing a ballad in impressive fashion. In fact, in a fashion worthy of The Voice crown.

J. Jadyn Cree (Team Michael), 23, Lincoln, Neb.: First “99 Red Baloons.” Then “I Think We’re Alone Now.” Both very impressive performances. Hmm, do you think Jadyn and Michael might cook up another 1980s cover for Monday’s show? The biggest question is: What ballad will Jadyn sing? The daughter of Season 25 finalist Bryan Olesen has been coming on strong. Her dad finished third on The Voice.

4. Jaelen Johnston (Team Kelsea), 21, Derby, Kansas: Jaelen’s the only Super Save contestant to make the finals. Fans were furious he had to go that route. But in truth, he hasn’t consistently delivered performances worthy of a Voice victory, and I thought his semifinal cover was one of his weakest. Still, I won’t be the least bit surprised if he’s the singer standing beside Lorenzo when a winner is announced.

5. Adam David (Team Michael), 34, Fort Lauderdale, Fla: He saved his best Voice performance yet for when it mattered most, during the instant save showdown at the end of Tuesday’s show, impressing with his cover of “Lose Control.” Making the finals is an impressive feat for a guy who turned one chair in the auditions. Needing the instant save is a sign that he enters Monday’s show as the underdog.

Sundance Head made terrible song choices when he made the Top 24. That and the Sanjaya campaign doomed his run.
