Reagan Strange was too ill to take the stage with her Top 10 counterparts Tuesday night.

And when she landed in the bottom three, she was too ill to perform a save-me song either.

But she still managed to get the Twitter save, by the narrowest of margins, with a big assist from coach Adam Levine.

That boosts Reagan into next week’s semifinals. It sent home Dave Fenley of Team Blake and DeAndre Nico, also of Team Adam.

They both sang save-me songs. Dave turned in a nice rendition of “Amazed.” DeAndre countered with a well-received cover of John Legend’s “All of Me.”

But things took a strange turn when it was Adam’s turn to critique DeAndre.

He admitted confusion over why DeAndre had landed in the bottom two for a second straight week.

But he spent most of his team urging fans at home to vote to save Reagan instead.

“There is an unbelievably talented little girl right now who is not able to fight for her position on this show,” he said, “The thought of breaking her heart by not urging everyone to give this girl a shot to go and redeem herself next week would be too far beneath me.”

“I’ve got to fight for my girl,” he added. “I’ve gotta make sure that I represent her properly in this moment because she didn’t have a chance to use her voice tonight, so I’m gonna use it for her as well as I possibly can to make sure she can make it next week.”

Then the voting began.

And when The Voice took the results meter from the screen, Reagan had 38 percent of the vote to 37 percent for DeAndre and 24 percent for Dave.

Moments later, Reagan was announced the winner and broke down in tears while embracing her mother.

And fans have been skewering Adam Levine on social media ever since.

Here are the save-me performances.
